Rocklin High School Books

About Campaign

Every year, the American Library Association hosts Banned Book Week, a week to "celebrate" and bring awareness to books that are most pulled from the shelves at public school libraries due to explicit or controversial content. The research team at the American Council has found numerous books on the shelves of this school that expose your children to explicit material. These book contain crude images of pornographic acts, underage sexual behavior, instructions on how to download and use a gay-sex app, child abuse, and the degradation of women.

Action Center

While we do not advocate for banning books, we do believe the decision on whether or not to expose minors to sexually explicit material should be left up to the parent or legal guardian. Click "Act Now" to send a pre-written letter to the school's head librarian and urge them to pull the book off the shelf.
